The Manhattan Youth adopted the YPG constitution from Ghana which it then amended to suit its needs. Their hard work enabled them to distribute the constitution to other sister churches in North America as a guideline for its Youth Ministries.

In the past year, the group organized various activities such as:

- As a result of both internal and external exchange programs for YPG and JY, we have been able to build friendship with youth groups from Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Presbyterian Reformed Church, Christ the King Catholic Church, and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
- Increased our membership
- Nursing Home visitations
- Non-attendance to meetings by some members.
- Some youth unwilling to associate with JY or YPG.
- Members not paying dues.
- Difficulties getting the JY member who have graduated to YPG to stay with YPG.
- Unable to plan more activities due to financial constraints.
By the Grace of God, the Young Peoples’ Guild that started in 1996 has paved the way for other youth to walk in its footsteps. The current youth will continue to develop and understand how important youth unity is. May the Lord continue to strengthen the youth spiritually, mentally and physically in its future goals as members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in New York (Manhattan).
